Arrival, departure of flights restricted at Grozny airport in Russia

The "Carpet" plan has been implemented at the Severny Airport (Grozny) in Russia, with arrivals and departures temporarily restricted, according to the airport's General Director Alvi Shakhgiriev, Report informs via Russian media.

"The airport is closed under Plan 'Carpet', we are neither accepting nor releasing (aircraft - ed.). Plan 'Carpet' was announced at 05:08 Moscow time," he said.

Shakhgiriev noted that some flights are being delayed.
