Armenian president invites PM, opposition to meeting

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has invited Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, leaders of parliamentary factions and representatives of the opposition Movement to Save the Motherland to hold a meeting on March 13 to discuss ways out of the internal political crisis, Report informs referring to the Armenian media.

‘Guided by state and national interests, in order to discuss the current situation and find ways out of the crisis, I invite the prime minister, leaders of parliamentary factions and representatives of the Movement to Save the Motherland to hold a meeting in the presidential residence on March 13 at 12:00,’ Sarkissian said in a statement.

The opposition of Armenia continues to hold rallies in the center of Yerevan demanding resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.
