The parliament proposed a plenary session on Tuesday, Report says, citing Sputnik Armenia. Seventy-one deputies voted in favor, while one abstained.

Since mid-March 2016, Armenians have been intensively violating the ceasefire on the former line of contact. Starting from the night of April 1, the positions and settlements of the Azerbaijani Army along the entire front were intensively fired by the enemy. As a result, the Armenians committed armed provocations on the contact line from April 2 to 5. There were also attacks on civilians during the instigations. As a result, several service members of the Azerbaijani Army and civilians were killed and wounded.

During the fighting, the Azerbaijani Army also held retaliatory strikes against the Armenian positions. Due to the rapid counterattack, our Army liberated more than 2,000 hectares of territory, and more settlements came under operational control. The heights around the village of Talysh, which could pose a threat to the Goranboy region Naftalan city, and the settlement of Seysulan, have been completely cleared of enemy forces. To protect the city of Horadiz from the threat posed by the enemy, the Azerbaijani Army also took control over the strategically important height called "Lela Tepe," which is located in the direction of the Fuzuli region and allows controlling a large area. As a result of these battles, 320 Armenian servicemen were killed, and more than 500 were wounded.
