The judicial system, preliminary investigation authorities, prosecutor's office, and police have to ensure the implementation of the government's mandate. It is, in fact, a manifestation of unprecedented cynicism when the government is openly setting a task to identify the powers with the state, member of the Armenian faction Armen Rustamyan said in parliament.
Report informs, citing local media, that the parliament member condemned the attempts of the authorities to subdue the legal system.
According to him, history repeatedly showed how identifying a personality with a state ends.
"For every action, there is a reaction. All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Therefore, do not shake your sword over people's heads," Armen Rustamyan said.
