Armenian Parliament approves regulations for work of delimitation commissions

The Armenian Parliament has ratified provisions on the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan, Report informs via Armenian media.

As many as 67 deputies voted in favor. There were no abstentions or votes against.

The opposition factions "Hayastan" and "I Have the Honor" did not participate in the discussion and voting.

Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a provision on the joint activities of border delimitation commissions on August 30. The regulations provide for organizing work on delimitation and adopting relevant documents, drawing up a protocol describing the state border crossing, creating a delimitation map of the appropriate scale, and the work of expert groups.

On September 26, the Constitutional Court issued a decision regarding the regulations of the work of the Armenian and Azerbaijani border delimitation commissions.
