After revising Armenia's 2025 draft budget, the projected GDP will decrease by 158 billion drams (approximately $405 million), Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said in the country's parliament, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
As a result, GDP is projected at 10.89 trillion drams (instead of the previous 11.05 trillion drams).
The authorities also lowered economic growth forecasts from 5.6% to 5.1%.
Regarding budget revenues, they will amount to 2.837 trillion drams, which is 35.5 billion drams less compared to the initial figure.
Budget expenditures will amount to 3.441 trillion drams.
The budget deficit will be 5.5% of GDP, or about 604 billion drams (decreased by 5.4 billion).
