Armenia says ready to open transport communications for all neighbors

Armenia is ready to immediately open communications for Azerbaijan, Türkiye, as well as for other neighbors and partners, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in the US, Report informs.

The Armenian government's 'Crossroads of Peace' project aims to open transport routes and create opportunities for laying pipelines and cables, which is a key factor in achieving peace, he noted, expressing readiness to open the country's routes for both Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as for other neighbors and partners.

This will happen while respecting the principle of sovereign jurisdiction of the parties and their territorial integrity, he said. Armenia is ready to guarantee the safety of goods, vehicles, and people on its territory, Pashinyan noted.
