Armenia's Pashinyan, Iran's Raisi discuss 3+3 regional platform

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has discussed issues of bilateral relations with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi by phone, according to the press service of the Armenian government, Report informs.

The parties talked about the progress of the implementation of the agreements.

Pashinyan and Raisi exchanged views on the regional 3+3 platform, noting that the meeting held in Tehran was useful.

The 3+3 format involves the participation of Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Türkiye and Georgia.

The first meeting of the group was held in December 2021 in Moscow at the level of deputy foreign ministers of five countries. Another meeting, this time with the participation of ministers of the five countries, was held in October 2023 in Iran. The next meeting will take place in Türkiye in 2024.
