Armenia's COVID death toll exceeds 8,500

Armenia confirmed 338 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 420,757, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.

The death toll has reached 8,505 as 12 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

So far, 403,671 patients have recovered from the infection.

There are currently around 6,472 active coronavirus cases in Armenia.
