Armenia re-introducing wearing face masks mandatory from November 1

The Armenian Health Ministry issued a corresponding decision to make wearing face masks mandatory from November 1, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.

"In order to reduce the risk of the spread of coronavirus pandemic, from November 1, wearing a mask is also mandatory in open public areas," the decision reads.

The exceptions are children under 5 years old, a number of officials, people with chronic respiratory diseases, those, who go in for outdoor sports, TV presenters alone in the studio, sign language interpreters, deaf people, people with mental illness, and cognitive impairments.
