Armenia coronavirus: Death toll exceeds 370

As of June 23 in the morning, 21,006 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Armenia. The number of infected in one day has grown by 418, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country.

10,144 people have recovered, while currently, 10,364 are getting treatment.

The total death toll reached 372, as 12 more fell victim to the virus.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China's Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 9,1 million globally, resulting in more than 4,9 million recoveries and over 474,000 deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
