Armenia coronavirus: Death toll approaches 1,800

Armenia confirmed 549 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide case tally to 117,886, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.

The death toll reached 1,788 as 25 more fell victims to the virus. So far, 75,865 people have recovered from the infection.

There are currently 39,779 active coronavirus patients in Armenia.
