Armenia and Georgia to set up working group to deepen cooperation in tourism

Armenia and Georgia have agreed to establish a joint working group aimed at deepening cooperation in the tourism sector.

According to Report's Georgian bureau, Mehak Apresyan, the chairman of the Armenian Tourism Federation, said the decision was reached following discussions between the Armenian Tourism Federation and the Georgian Tourism Association in Yerevan.

Apresyan emphasized the immediacy of the plan, stating, "Representatives of the working group will soon hold their first meeting at the Armenian-Georgian border. They will discuss on-site issues at the customs checkpoint and propose solutions."
