Armenia and France signed three documents during the visit of French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barron to Yerevan.
Report informs, citing the Armenian press, that Armenian and French foreign ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jean-Noel Barron signed a Declaration of Intent.
The document envisages holding annual political consultations between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries, cooperation in combating disinformation, and training diplomats.
The ministers also signed a protocol on amendments to the agreement between the governments of the two countries on the establishment and operation of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Promotion and Participation Company for Economic Cooperation (Proparco) in Armenia.
In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Enterprise Armenia Foundation and the French company Business France with the participation of the ministers.
Earlier, a one-on-one meeting was held at the Armenian MFA between Ararat Mirzoyan and his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barron.
