The Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to inflict crushing blows on the groups of Russian troops in the temporarily taken areas of Ukraine and started counteroffensive in some areas, Report informs referring to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the results of the previous day, due to the actions of the air defense of the Air Force of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, three planes were destroyed (two Su-34 planes). In addition, one helicopter, three operational-tactical drones and two cruise missiles were shot down. Additional information is being finalized.
The Air Force of Ukraine continued to carry out missile and bomb strikes against ground targets. Nine air raids were carried out on the columns of equipment and the accumulation of Russian troops.
At the same time, the Russian forces continue to carry out missile and bomb strikes against the infrastructure and densely populated areas of Ukrainian cities.
“The enemy continues to suffer losses and retreats in certain directions. The main efforts of the occupiers are focused on securing and holding the previously taken lines and defense areas,” the General Staff noted.
