Another quake rocks Turkey’s western region

A magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolted Turkey’s western province of Mugla on Monday, according to Turkish media.

The quake struck off the coast of Marmaris district at 07:06 local time. It originated at a depth of 63.3 kilometers.

No damage and casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, a quake hit the south-west of the country,13 km south of Marmaris, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported. The epicenter, with a depth of 62.26 km, was initially determined to be at 36.7307 degrees north latitude and 28.2514 degrees east longitude.
