Another black box found at AZAL plane crash site

Another black box has been found at the crash site of Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft near Aktau, the Transport Prosecutor of Kazakhstan's Mangistau region, Abylaibek Ordabayev, said at a briefing in Astana regarding the AZAL plane crass, Report informs.

"Two flight recorders have been found, which will be handed over to the Aviation Accident Investigation Department. They will be examined later," Ordabayev noted.

He also described the work carried out at the crash site. "By order of the Prosecutor General, an interdepartmental investigation team was created, consisting of the most experienced police and prosecution officers, totaling 52 employees. Investigative and operational actions have been carried out, including interviews with victims and ground service workers, and we are identifying all witnesses to this incident. Radio communication recordings between the crew and dispatchers have been retrieved. The inspection of the crash site - more than 4,000 square meters - is nearing completion. Police forces are securing the territory. We are also working in close cooperation with representatives from Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation," Ordabayev explained.
