Ankara to host Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State of OTS

An Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held today in Ankara, Report informs.

The President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the representatives of the observer countries - Ersin Tatar, the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Victor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the President of Turkmenistan, will participate in the Summit.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which received observer status at last year's Samarkand Summit, will participate in the Summit for the first time.

At the meeting held in solidarity with Türkiye regarding the large earthquakes on February 6, issues related to the development of cooperation in the fight against disasters and their consequences will be discussed, and views will be exchanged on common topics on the agenda.

Erdogan will also have bilateral meetings with his colleagues within the framework of the Summit.
