Report informs citing Turkish NTV channel that, according to him, the activity of People’s Alliance established with Justice and Development Party has been concluded.
The party leader expressed that they would participate with their candidates and emblems in the municipal elections to be held on March 31, 2019.
Notably, Cumhur İttifakı (commonly translated into English as the People's Alliance) was established in February 2018 between the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the opposition Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
The alliance is supposed to be dismissed since the two parties failed to agree on the candidacy of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the issue of pardon.
