Russia, like Armenia, is interested in the diversification of transport routes and building new routes for cargo transportation between countries, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Alexei Overchuk, said, Report informs.
According to him, the transport connection through the "Upper Lars" checkpoint is not fully ensured year-round due to natural and climatic reasons: "This seriously hinders the development of relations between the two countries."
