Adverse weather conditions blamed for Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter crash

The helicopter crash that resulted in the death of former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was caused by challenging weather conditions, Report informs via Iranian media.

The final investigation by the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces concluded, “The main reason for the helicopter crash is the complex climate conditions of the spring season and the formation of dense fog in the region. As a result, the helicopter crashed into the mountain.”

On May 19, 2024, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and eight others lost their lives in a helicopter accident.
