The death toll in Iran’s Saravan from a Pakistani missile attack has risen to 9, Report informs referring to Iran’s media.
Earlier, the press service of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry reported that the counter-terrorism operation Marg Bar Sarmachar was carried out in the morning, as part of which strikes were carried out “on terrorist hideouts” located in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Seven people were killed in explosions in the vicinity of Saravan district in Sistan and Baluchestan province in Iran, according to the deputy governor of the province, Report informs referring to Tasnim News.
The blast killed three women and four children, according to Sistan and Baluchestan’s deputy governor for security. All those killed were not Iranian citizens.
Several explosions occurred in one of the border villages of the Saravan district around 04:30 local time (06:00 Baku time). According to reports, another explosion that did not result in any injuries was recorded not far from the administrative center of the district, the city of Saravan.
