5,775 buildings collapse due to quake in Turkiye’s Kahramanmaras

Some 5,775 buildings have collapsed as a result of the earthquake in Turkiye’s Kahramanmaras, according to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

According to unspecified data, the total number of collapsed buildings is 11,302.

AFAD also noted that 24,443 people were involved in search and rescue operations.
