5.1-magnitude quake hits Izmir

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred in the Menderes district of Izmir, Türkiye.

Report informs, citing the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), that the earthquake was recorded in the Aegean Sea.

There is still no information about the consequences of the natural disaster.
