A magnitude 4.7 earthquake has struck the city of Zahedan in southeastern Iran at a depth of 10km, a local crisis management official said, Report informs citing Iran International.
Rescue teams have been dispatched to assess the possible damages.
25 people were injured as a result of the earthquake, said Mohammad Reza Mirhadi, doctor-in-chief at Khatam al-Anbiya Hospital in Zahedan, IRNA reported.
According to him, people were injured when they fell down the stairs, as well as when they fell from their beds. They are given medical assistance in the hospital.
