President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the participants of the meeting in the Ramstein format to provide Ukraine with F-16 aircraft and long-range missiles, Report informs referring to UNIAN.
Zelenskyy was speaking during an online address at the beginning of the meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense Issues (the so-called Ramstein-8), which is taking place at an air base in Germany,
He thanked for the unity, dialogue and format of cooperation with Ukraine within the Ramstein and expressed confidence that this unity will become even stronger.
“Do we have much time? No! Terror does not allow for discussion. Terror, burning city after city, becomes defiant when they (the Russians) feel that the defenders of freedom are running out of weapons against it. The war started by Russia does not allow delays. I can thank you hundreds of times, and it will be absolutely fair and honest, if we talk about what we have already done. But hundreds of thanks are not hundreds of tanks. All of us can say a thousand words during discussions, but I cannot replace weapons with words, which is needed against Russian artillery, or air defense missiles, which are needed to protect people from Russian air strikes,” Zelenskyy stressed.
