During a meeting with US presidential candidate Donald Trump at Trump Tower, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained his decision to meet with both candidates, stating that the fighting will not end before the American elections in November.
Report informs via RBC that Zelenskyy said, "In November, Americans will decide who will become president. But we understand that until November, we will not be able to stop Putin. (...) However, we realize that after November, we will have to make decisions, and we hope that the strength of the United States will be very great. (...) That is why I decided to meet with both candidates."
Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of sharing all steps that will strengthen Ukraine and stressed the need to make decisions regarding their implementation.
