Zelenskyy: Kursk operation unrelated to Qatar meeting

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in Russia's Kursk region is "not related to the energy meeting in Qatar," Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press conference.

According to Report, which cites RBC Ukraine, he emphasized that the ongoing combat activities in Kursk are part of Ukraine's victory plan.

"The Kursk operation is absolutely not connected to any of the points of the peace formula. Is the Kursk operation related to the second peace summit? Yes. Because the Kursk operation is one of the points of Ukraine's victory plan," Zelenskyy declared.

He also announced his potential meeting with United States leader Joe Biden, which may take place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in September this year. Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Biden and his team for their unwavering support, stating that "many things depend on the US."
