Western Germany battered by third explosion occurred in a week

An explosion occurred at the entrance to a residential building near Bonn in western Germany, which is the third in the region since the beginning of the week.

Report informs via local police that the incident occurred in the community of Wachtberg, bordering Bonn and part of the Cologne administrative district. No one was injured.

According to preliminary data, it was a low-power explosive device. The search for suspects continues.

The police do not rule out a connection between this incident and the explosions that occurred in Cologne this week. On Monday, an explosion occurred near the Vanity Club Cologne, injuring one person. Cologne police published a photo of the alleged suspect who planted the explosive. On Wednesday, an explosion occurred near a clothing store.

Law enforcement agencies believe that Dutch organized crime groups involved in drug trafficking may be related to the incidents.
