Taiwan's armed forces are discussing the supply of attack drones with the United States, the head of the Department of Strategic Planning and Construction of the Taiwanese Armed Forces, Major General Xun Shenjun, Report informs.
“In the military budget, everyone can see military purchases from the United States. The American side has not yet finalized the payment procedure, has not completed the notification to Congress, has not made the data public,” he said in response to a request from journalists to comment on the purchase of attack drones.
According to him, it is for this reason that funds for the purchase of UAVs are included in the classified part of the budget.
“Therefore, as far as attack drones are concerned, we cannot talk about any details here yet,” he concluded.
