Venezuelan training ship arrives in Santiago de Cuba

Venezuelan training ship AB Simon Bolivar has arrived in Santiago de Cuba on a visit that will last until June 19, as previously announced by Venezuela’s Revolutionary War Navy, Report informs referring to Prensa Latina.

On a recent communiqué, the military entity assured that the visit takes place as part of the 34th Overseas Training Cruise in 2024.

The cruise alias the Ambassador without Borders, the training ship will make a voyage through the Caribbean seas that will last approximately three months, according to the Ministry of People’s Power for the Defense of Venezuela.

It will be sailing some 4,500 nautical miles and will be visiting several Caribbean and Latin American ports.

Prior to its arrival in Santiago de Cuba, the ship visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico, and after its departure from Cuba it will reach Santa Marta, Colombia, and Willemstad, Curacao to end its voyage in the Venezuelan port of La Guaira, on July 13.
