US unemployment claims grow

In the week ending May 7, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims in the US was 203,000, an increase of 1,000 from the previous week's revised level, Report informs referring to the US Department of Labor.

The previous week's level was revised up by 2,000 from 200,000 to 202,000. The 4-week moving average was 192,750, an increase of 4,250 from the previous week's revised average. The previous week's average was revised up by 500 from 188,000 to 188,500.
