US to allocate almost $300M for transport infrastructure and agro-industrial complex of Ukraine

The United States has decided to allocate $74.7 million to support Ukraine's agricultural sector and over $223 million for the restoration of Ukrainian transport infrastructure, said Richard Verma, US Under Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Report informs.

"We are allocating an additional $74.7 million to support export-oriented agriculture so that Ukrainian farmers and food producers can play a more significant role in Ukraine's economic recovery," said the diplomat.

According to him, Washington will also provide over $223 million in additional support for the restoration of Ukraine's transport infrastructure and logistics.
