The Wall Street Journal, citing ship-tracking data, earlier said that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz "was slow throughout July, with an average of 26 crossings a day." Only 14 vessels crossed the waterway on Tuesday.
"The commercial satellite players, these are great businesses, but this is a conflict zone right now, and to see exactly what's happening as we're seeing in the data, that's difficult," he said.
