US forces begin strikes on IRGC targets in Iran

US forces have begun striking targets belonging to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Report informs, citing a post by US Central Command (CENTCOM) on X.

"Today at 12 p.m. ET, U.S. forces began striking Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran," CENTCOM said.

According to the command, the strikes followed recent attempted attacks by the IRGC against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and against US service members deployed to the region.
