US embassy employee attempts to carry mortar shell in luggage at Moscow airport

Baku. 9 March. REPORT.AZ/ A US embassy employee tried to carry a mortar shell in luggage in Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport, Report informs citing Sputnik International.

The Russian Foreign Ministry described this incident as an attempt to stage a provocation.

The Foreign Ministry added that they immediately informed the US embassy about the incident and expect the explanations.
