US destroys 4 Houthi radars, 1 drone

The US military destroyed four radars of the Houthi rebels from Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Report informs.

“In the past 24 hours, US Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed four Houthi radars and one uncrewed surface vessel (USV) in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

Additionally, USCENTCOM forces successfully destroyed one Iranian-backed Houthi uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Red Sea. There were no injuries or damage reported by US, coalition, or merchant vessels.

It was determined these systems presented an imminent threat to US forces, coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region. These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition, and merchant vessels,” CENTCOM wrote on X.
