US crude stocks fall more than expected: EIA

US crude oil inventories fell by 4.581 million barrels in the week ended April 14, 2023, more than market expectations of a 1.088 million barrel decrease, the latest US Energy Information Administration report showed, Report informs via foreign media.

Also, crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub dropped by 1.088 million barrels, following a 409 thousand decrease in the previous period. Meanwhile, gasoline stocks rose by 1.3 million, against expectations of a 1.267 million draw. Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, went down by 0.356 million, compared with forecasts for a 0.927 million drop.
