Unknown attackers open fire at military checkpoint in West Bank — IDF

Unknown attackers opened fire at a military checkpoint in the West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press office reported Saturday, Report informs via TASS.

"On Friday night, fire was opened from a passing car towards the military checkpoint near the settlement of Yabad [a Palestinian village near the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank - TASS]. Soldiers that were performing routing duties in this area, opened fire at the attacker. The car sustained a hit. No injuries among the servicemen were reported," the press office said.

The military added that a search for the attackers is underway.
