UN under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs arrives in Sudan

UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths has arrived in Port Sudan, Report informs referring to TASS.

“Just arrived in Port Sudan to reaffirm the UN’s commitment to the Sudanese people. In awe of the unwavering dedication of the humanitarian community & local volunteers doing their best to help,” he tweeted.

Griffiths also posted a photo showing him getting off a United Nations Humanitarian Air Service plane.
