As a result of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, according to the UN, more than 100 civilians have already been killed and more than 300 injured, says the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, Report informs referring to DW.
At least seven children were among the victims. Most of the casualties were caused by artillery, rocket and aerial bombardments, the UN high commissioner said in a statement.
On February 28 alone, Russian troops massively shelled Kharkiv from Grad multiple launch rocket systems. Dozens of dead and hundreds of injured were reported.
In general, the air raid was carried out on Brovary, Kyiv region. Mayor Ihor Sapozhko reported one dead and five injured.
According to the Healthcare Ministry, as of February 28, since the beginning of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, 352 people have been killed, including 16 children, 2,040 civilians have been injured, including 45 children.
