The next steps towards the solution of the Cyprus issue will be proposed, UN Secretary-General's Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric told reporters, Report informs.
The spokesperson said that Maria Angela Cuellar, the personal representative of the UN Secretary-General, who returned from a trip to the region, prepared a special report on the solution of the Cyprus issue:
“The UN Secretary-General received her report for efforts to find common ground on the way forward in Cyprus. The secretary-general is now considering the recommendations in Angela Cuellar's report to suggest next steps to Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders,” Dujarric noted.
