UN expects Iran to fulfill its commitments to IAEA

The UN calls on Iran to fully comply with the IAEA commitments under the nuclear deal, said Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN secretary-general, Report informs referring to TASS.

He was commenting on statements from Tehran that from next week the admission of agency inspectors to the facilities may be terminated, and further cooperation with the IAEA will be in a written form.

"We have urged - and the UN secretary-general continues to urge - all parties to adhere to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Nuclear Deal, which was an outstanding diplomatic achievement. We want to make sure that all parties, including Iran, fulfill their commitments and that in accordance with this approach, Iran continues to cooperate with the IAEA fully," he said.
