In Ukraine, 10,810 civilians have been killed since the start of the war, including 600 children, Assistant Secretary General of the UN Miroslav Jenca during a Security Council meeting on Ukraine, Report informs.

“Russia shells Ukrainian cities and towns every day, intensively and systematically targeting energy infrastructure. The civilian population is becoming the target of continuous attacks, and we are horrified by the growing losses. Russia continues its occupation policy in violation of the UN Charter and international law,” Jenca said.
He stressed that about 40 percent of Ukraine's population needs humanitarian assistance.
