Ukrainian official: About 20,000 subscribers in Sumy region do not have power supply

Ukrainian armed forces, security and defense forces are holding their positions firmly, Oleg Hrygorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, told Report while commenting on the recent intensive attacks of the Russian army.

"As the head of the regional military administration, I have contacts with the military command. The Sumy regional administration is very actively cooperating with all international partners. We feel 100% support in solving humanitarian issues. The priority is the construction of housing for internally displaced persons. Currently, we have launched several projects at the UN," Hrygorov said.

He noted that despite the security threats amid regular attacks, the relevant services are working: "Despite the existing risks, emergency crews are working systematically and productively. Despite the security threats, restoration work is underway. In total, about 20,000 subscribers in the province do not have a power supply," he added.
