Ukraine receives first IMF tranche for $2.7B

Ukraine has received the first tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the new extended financing program.

The amount is 2 billion special drawing rights, or about $2.7 billion, Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Andrii Pyshny said, Report informs referring to Ukrainian media.

“We thank the partners for the quick help and are already actively working to successfully pass the first review of the program and receive the next tranche from the IMF,” Pyshny wrote on his Facebook page.
