British authorities will keep sanctions against Russia in place at the end of the war in Ukraine to prevent Moscow from quickly rebuilding its military capabilities, UK Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade Nusrat Ghani said, Report informs referring to TASS.
The sanctions will continue to apply when the conflict ends. They won’t be lifted on the same day as the conflict ends, Ghani said, speaking at the Policy Exchange think tank in London.
She noted that the British government intends to prevent the restoration of Russia’s military capabilities immediately after the end of hostilities.
