"Russian forces attempt to advance towards the cities of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk from the north and east," UK Defence Ministry wrote on Twitter, Report informs.
"The city of Kreminna has reportedly fallen, and heavy fighting is reported south of Izium. Ukrainian forces have been preparing defences in Zaporizhzhia in preparation for a potential Russian attack from the south. The UK and our international partners are united in support for Ukraine. The UK government is providing a range of economic, humanitarian and defensive military assistance to Ukraine and is imposing additional sanctions on Russia and Belarus," the ministry wrote.
