UK, Austria mull new restrictions against Russia

The UK and Austria are discussing ways to increase sanctions pressure on Russia due to the situation in Ukraine, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak said at a joint press conference with his Austrian counterpart Karl Nehammer in Vienna, Report informs referring to TASS.

Sunak didn’t specify what measures he was talking about, but earlier British media noted that London was not happy with the continuation of the work of the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International AG in the Russian Federation.

In addition, the head of the United Kingdom government said that the parties are interested in strengthening cooperation to combat illegal migration.
