UAE, Greece sign memorandum on military cooperation

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Greece have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening military and defense cooperation between the two countries.

Report informs, citing the UAE Ministry of Defense's X account, that the document was signed during a meeting between UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei and his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.

During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to develop cooperation in the defense and military fields, particularly the joint provision of maritime security, the holding of exercises and the exchange of military expertise. These efforts are expected to contribute to maintaining regional security and stability, as well as strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The ministry said both sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing joint coordination and developing areas of defense cooperation in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
